Everything Praxa does

Turn a screen recording into a step-by-step SOP with screenshots and a quiz, assign it to your team and see who's trained. Everything below is built and works today; a connection still in early access carries a tag.

What Praxa does today

  • Records a tab, window or screen with the microphone in Chrome, Edge or Firefox, or takes an uploaded MP4, MOV or WebM up to 2 GB and 45 minutes.
  • Transcribes the recording and drafts numbered steps, a screenshot at the moment each step starts, and a quiz.
  • Everything Praxa drafts stays a draft until an author approves it.
  • Assigns SOPs to a person, a role, a location or everyone, with due dates, and orders them into training paths per role.
  • Learners open their training from a personal emailed link, with no account or password.
  • Shows who hasn't started, is in progress, hasn't passed the quiz yet, is done or is overdue, with CSV export.
  • Re-recording one step updates the SOP once approved, raises its version and emails everyone assigned.
  • Reminds learners once when training is due within two days, then up to three overdue reminders a week apart.

From one recording to a trained team

  • Record a walkthrough. Share your screen in the browser and talk through the task once, or upload a video you already have (up to 45 minutes).
  • Get the steps written. Praxa transcribes what you said, writes numbered steps, takes a screenshot at the moment each step starts, and drafts a short quiz.
  • Review and approve. Edit any step, move the screenshot to a better moment, fix the quiz, then approve it as the SOP. Nothing reaches anyone before you do.
  • Assign it. Send it to one person, everyone in a role, everyone at a location, or everyone, with a due date. Or put SOPs in order as a training path for a role.
  • Track who's trained. See who finished, who passed the quiz and who's overdue, for every SOP and person, and download it as a spreadsheet.

What your team sees

No accounts and no passwords. Each person gets a personal link by email that opens their training: paths in order, each SOP's steps with screenshots and the part of the video for that step, then the quiz.

  • One link per person. Their training, in the order you set, with due dates. A lost link is emailed again from the training page; you can replace a link at any time.
  • Read, watch, then check. Every step has its screenshot and a button to play just that part of the recording. The quiz shows what was right and why, and they can try again.
  • Reminders that stop. An email when training is assigned, once when it's due within two days, and up to three overdue reminders a week apart. Anyone can turn them off.

Docs that stay current

  • When a process changes, re-record just that step. Praxa rewrites the step from what you say and takes a new screenshot; when you approve it, the SOP's version goes up and everyone assigned is emailed what changed. People who'd already finished it are asked to look again, and their original completion stays on record.

Safeguards

  • Drafts, never auto-published. Everything Praxa writes is a draft until an author approves it. A re-recorded step waits beside the live one until you approve the change.
  • Only what's assigned. A learner's link shows only the approved SOPs assigned to them. Archive someone who leaves and their link stops working; their records are kept.
  • Your data, exportable and erasable. Download every training record as a spreadsheet, or everything as JSON. Erase one learner, or the whole workspace with its recordings.
  • Clear about AI. Audio goes to OpenAI for transcription and the transcript to Anthropic's Claude for drafting; neither may train on it. Record with test data, not real customer or patient records.

Questions buyers ask

How does Praxa keep SOPs current when a process changes?

Re-record just the step that changed. Praxa rewrites that step from what you say and takes a new screenshot, and the change waits beside the live step until an author approves it. Then the SOP's version goes up, everyone assigned is emailed, and people who had finished it are asked to look again.
